Morning Meditation of 11 January 2025: Psalm 27:4

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

As the sun rises and a new day unfolds, let us pause for a moment of stillness in God’s presence. Just as David in Psalm 27:4 expressed his deep longing to dwell in the house of the Lord and seek His beauty, we too are invited to place God at the center of our hearts today. In the hustle and bustle of our daily work, business, and responsibilities, let us remember that the true beauty and peace we seek are found only in God’s presence.

Even in the midst of challenges, let us focus on the one thing that truly matters—our relationship with the Lord. May His love guide us in all that we do. In our actions, decisions, and interactions with others today, let us strive to reflect His goodness and grace. As we go about our tasks, whether big or small, let them be an expression of our devotion to Him, showing His love and light in the workplace and beyond.

Prayer:

Lord, we come before You this morning with grateful hearts. We thank You for the opportunity to seek Your presence today. May our hearts long for You as David’s heart longed for Your house. Fill us with Your peace and beauty, so that we may face the day with renewed strength and faith. In every task, every business deal, every conversation, may our actions reflect Your love and goodness. Help us to encourage one another, to love deeply, and to stay rooted in Your Word. May every moment today be a reflection of Your grace and light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
